Samsung Galaxy S6 & Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Review and Specifications

Samsung has two brand new flagship devices that we’re discussing today. The Samsung Galaxy s6 and the Galaxy s6 edge. Samsung developed them both side by side. Both’re very similar in terms of size and weight. Not much difference is there between the S6 and the s6 edge.

Design and Hardware:

S6 S6 EDGE-phonesThe difference here is the S6 edge has a curved edge on either side of the display while the s6 has a standard flat-out screen surface but both share a brand new design language. Samsung Galaxy S 6 edge is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6 but it offers the striking unique design. Samsung swipes away the plastic and replaces it with both metal and glass. And both share very powerful internal components the Galaxy s6 is the more traditional with its flat front display but it also uses this metallic paint underneath on the front bezels. The side is aluminum what we do not found with a Samsung flagship device. It instantly makes huge difference internal quality and feel of the overall hardware. Thanks to the curves on either side of the display. Blending beautiful aesthetics with innovative functionality, the unique, dual curved Galaxy S6 edge gives you a new way to quickly check and respond to calls, messages and emails. This place one continuous panel unlike on the note 4 edge though the features that are offered are actually more limited but it really does a great job with the overall look and feel of the device. Paired with this metal frame and the reflective metal coating underneath the glass it’s really good combination.

Software:

Android OS is also changed from earlier versions of Samsung devices for the better. They inserted a lot of their own flavors in the operating system and it’s much closer to stock Android. You can also view biggest difference in settings so you get to the settings menu quite different from even on the galaxy s5. It’s a lot easier to look at in a whole lot more in keeping with material design. You can also reposition something like stock apps re-size the screen like the dialer you can shrink down but this will remain in operation. You can use multi window which is Samsung’s multi tasking system in operation on the Samsung devices. You run one app on the right and one half on the left side by side. You can also change the size of each section.

Camera:

With a launch time of just 0.7 seconds, you can capture more of your favourite moments, as they happen. And thanks to its Optical Image Stabilization, fast tracking auto focus and bigger, f1.9 aperture for better low light results, every shot will be as amazing as the next.

Ergonomics:

Samsung have had a lot of attention to the details like metal buttons on the side. Samsung still has had to do a protrusion for the camera module. Still that’s exceptable when you have a device like this and that could be required if you want a good camera.

Battery:
