The New Macbook 2015

Apple today Introduced the new MacBook. The full-size Mac experience in its thinnest and lightest form ever. The Mac lineup is stronger than ever. This is the first fanless MacBook. Not only does this save space, but it also allows the new MacBook to run in silence. Mac notebook sales have grown 21% over the last year, while total industry sales have fallen. The new MacBook is in silver, space gray and gold.

MacBook Air is getting a performance boost. It now has fifth-generation Intel Core processors and Thunderbolt 2. And it’s available today.  Jony Ive said that

We set a new standard for portability while enhancing its fundamental components, to deliver what we believe is the best MacBook yet.

The best Mac notebook lineup ever. MacBook Air. MacBook Pro. The new MacBook. MacBook isn’t just a new notebook. It’s the future of the notebook. This is the most precisely engineered product Apple has ever made. At only 2 pounds, this is the lightest MacBook ever. MacBook has a gorgeous 12-inch Retina display. It packs over 3 million pixels into the thinnest Mac Retina display yet. Every single pixel has been re-engineered to let more light through. So the Retina display uses 30% less energy to produce the same brightness as other Mac Retina displays. The Intel Core M processor runs on just 5 watts. It now has fifth-generation Intel Core processors and Thunderbolt 2. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display now features the Force Touch trackpad.

The new MacBook is 24% thinner than the 11-inch MacBook Air. MacBook has an all-new, full-size keyboard that’s been re-engineered from the ground up. Each key is four times more stable and has a 17% larger surface area. A new butterfly mechanism makes each key more stable, more precise, and 40% thinner. There’s an LED under every key, so the entire keyboard has a uniform glow. MacBook has a new, pressure-sensitive Force Touch trackpad. The Force Touch trackpad has force sensors that detect how much pressure you apply on its surface. The harder you press on the trackpad, the faster you can fast-forward through a QuickTime movie. The Force Touch trackpad can tell the difference between a light tap and a deep press. You can adjust the sensitivity of the trackpad to decide how much pressure it takes to click. You can click anywhere. And clicks are quieter. Force click a word to bring up its Wikipedia entry. A new, custom-shaped battery maximizes every millimeter of space. USB-C gives you five ports in one. This new connectivity standard gives you power, USB data transfer, DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA capabilities. Efficient engineering dramatically reduced the size of the logic board and eliminated the need for a fan.

Shipping on April 10, the most advanced new Mac notebook starts at $1299. A second configuration for $1599 features the 12-inch Retina display, 1.2GHz Intel Core M, Intel HD Graphics 5300, 8GB memory, and 512GB of flash storage.
