USB-C Adapter For the New MacBook

USB-C Port In The new MacBook is surely not enough for all your appliances. You can’t plugin any of your stuff because the new MacBook 2015 has only got a single USB-C type port and it does everything from charging, to sending video out and transporting data. But the problem is that you can use this port for one task at one time so if you want to charge your Apple MacBook you can’t watch videos on big screen or even you can’t transport data to your USB drives because the single port is already booked for charging. You can either wait and then plug-in your rest of the stuff or you can do it right away. But how can it be possible? Definitely you need an adapter to solve this problem.

Nonda, a smart hardware company based in Palo Alto has built an adapter for this problem called HUB+ . This amazing adapter let you plug-in all your stuff in it and then plug that HUB+ in the single USB-C port in the new MacBook. Hub+ supports all your devices for work + play. It also charges your laptop. Plug your power cord into the second USB-C port. The white USB-C to USB-C connecting cable comes with the Hub+. This adapter comes with an aluminum alloy body for rugged durability.

HUB+_1

The Hub+ is not just an ordinary adapter. It serves as a “charging bridge” for the new MacBook and makes it possible to plug-in all your gear and charge your MacBook at the same time. You can use the Hub+ with the new USB-C or a traditional USB-A plug. You can use a short cable when you’re on your way or a long cable if your workspace assumes it. Or you can use the Hub+ as a portable charger and plug-in your standard USB charging cable to charge your phone.

Ports:

It gives you all the ports that you used to have on your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro and more.

  • 3 USB-A
  • 2 USB-C
  • Mini Display Port
  • SDXC Card Reader

HUB+

Power:

With a built-in Lithium-ion battery, Hub+ is able to

  • Charge 3 devices at the same time
  • Give 2.5 hours of additional talking time on an iPhone 6
  • Store charge automatically when used as a hub, so you never have to remember to charge that external battery for your phone

Portability:

Minimalist design makes Hub+ easy to carry.

  • 0.33 inch in thickness
  • 4.87 inches in length
  • 3.3 oz in weight

You can back this project on Kickstarter here. If you donate $79 you’ll get a one Hub+. The retail price for Hub+ will be $99.
